I’m Carlee Hebert and I’m currently a senior at Texas A&M. WHOOP!! I am majoring in Telecommunication Media Studies and double minoring in Psychology and French. Throughout this website, you can see all my accomplishments academically and professionally. Here, you’ll get to know me a little more personally.
Last spring, I studied abroad in Grenoble, France! I can’t even put into words how much I loved studying abroad and how much I miss everything and everyone from Grenoble *sighs longingly*. The day after my plane landed in Houston, I went to my hair stylist and requested bangs because 1) I’d been wanting something different and 2) you just gotta live on the edge sometimes. The next day, I started my internship at Satori Marketing with some amazing people (and office dogs!). I’m currently back at my beloved university studying and working the days away.
On any given day, I’m studying in the MSC Flag Room, working on my blog, or visiting my favorite coffee shops. I’m really passionate about helping people and (this one gets specific) how the media affects how women see themselves. I’ve written two research papers on that topic and will be doing a project on it this semester. I have plans to turn that into a business one day, but for now, I’m pursuing a career in management consulting.
You still want to know more about me? Well, here are a few fun facts.
- My habits include finishing a book in a day, setting off the fire alarm when I cook, and buying mugs like they are going out of style.
- My room is stocked full of candles, blankets, and all other cozy things.
- I love getting into the gym, especially for a little yoga.
- Finding an amazing sale can, and has, made my entire day.
I’m excited to graduate and begin a new chapter in my life. Maybe I’ll even be working with you!
